Abstract
Hybrid Petri net (HPN) is a complex dynamic system model that includes both discrete events and continuous variables. Testing systems are usually modeled as discrete event dynamic systems. Nonetheless some types of the systems include continuous variables and system state transitions, some discrete state transitions can be treated as continuous ones at the macro level as well. Thus testing systems have the characteristics of hybrid systems. This paper studied a testing system as a hybrid system, proposed a HPN model for a multi-parameters acquisition card of a testing system for aviation engine, analyzed the system using such model. The analysis results prove that HPN model is able to reduce the system model´s state space and represent the dynamic evolution of the system more abstractly and cleanly.
