Abstract :
This paper presents a 3-dimensional (3D) fractal dimension theoretical estimations of the stepped leaders, dart-stepped leaders and return strokes by the coaxial unification fractal model (CUFM). Then, the 2-dimensional (2D) photograph projected fractal dimension is deduced by the rank-nullity theorem. Finally, the numerical simulations are performed by the typical parameters of CUFM. It is found that the outcomes are agree with the lightning fractal dimension observations.
