Abstract :
A combination mode of host computer and slave computer is adopted by strain measuring system for Hopkinson pressure bar. The host computer is a microcomputer mode Pentium 4 which can be used in after-processing of measurement,while the 8098 single microcomputer used by the slave computer as controller, and data acquisition consists of sensors, converters, interfaces and peripheral equipment, carries out logging, display and printing of parameters for strain ,pressure displacements and temperatures etc. (that is preprocessing of data). Data transmission between host computer and slave computer can be realized by serial mode via the interface RS-232. This paper describes configuration and designing of this system in detail.
