Abstract :
This paper presents a characteristic investigation over a phased array antenna, which radiates field focused at a described location. In particular, we employ the asymptotic technique to decompose the radiation into a ray propagation mechanism, and explore the radiation mechanism characteristics not exhibited in the previous literatures. Examples are presented to demonstrate their characteristics.
