Abstract :
This article analyzes a model for the code division multiple access channel that is subject to stochastic fading. A brief discussion on the effects of fading, in connection with mobile radio channels, is presented and the effect of Rayleigh fading on the capacity of the channel is investigated. The use of RAKE receiver to improve the capacity of the CDMA channel is discussed
