Abstract :
A novel adaptive array antenna with path selection of OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) signals is proposed by introducing a new path separation method and a new path selection criterion for combination, when cochannel interference waves exist. Firstly, the path separation method is proposed by using an MMSE (minimum mean square error) adaptive array when the symbol timings of multipath signals are unknown. Secondly, the path selection criterion is proposed to select the separated paths according to the least mean square error. Finally, the maximal ratio combination method is applied to the selected signals to optimize the final array output. Computer simulation results show that the proposed scheme reveals good performance.
