Abstract :
The analysis for pulse waveform is a sticking point for digital pulse processing. In this paper, the waveform of current pulse in Cd(Zn)Te detector and output pulse of preamplifier are analyzed in detail. The cause of formation of pile-up pulse is illuminated. And an identification method for pulse pile-up type by means of digital signal processing technique is offered, which indicates that it is possible to make use of pulses of slight leading-edge pile-up and general lagging-edge pile-up except some severe leading-edge pile-up for digital spectrometry.
