Abstract
The use of electronics for vehicle instrumentation has increased significantly over the past three years. This technology has allowed new implementations of historical instrumentation functions, and the introduction of new features. This paper provides an overview of the Ford Motor Company electronic instrumentation products, some reflection on the major benefits and problems, and an assessment of the challenges for future growth.
