Abstract
Voltage dips are a major concern for some transmission system operators. With increasing wind farm penetration in power systems, many national grid codes are imposing requirements for uninterrupted generation throughout power system disturbances. The aim of this paper is to present the results of measured voltage dips using two power quality analyzers installed for months in a Spanish wind farm. From the measured voltage waveforms, voltage dips are characterized by extracting dip type and characteristics.
