Abstract :
This paper brings forward a multifunctional signal source design method by integration of freewill waveform generator and equal precision cymometer on a chip with Nios as the core. The signal source can modify freely its main functions in accordance to the real need, and it has broad using range. This design method changes the main works on hardware design into software design, makes the designs easy relatively. The signal frequency generated by DDS can keep high resolutions, speedy conversion, and continuous phase. Equal precision cymometer can keep constant testing precision during the whole frequency area, as well as little measuring tolerance of equal precision cymometer. Due to the main functions of the system are on FPGA, so the system has strong anti-interference performance.
