Abstract :
The ATS software platform based on function interface model (FIM) has built the function interface between the test program and specific instruments. It has isolated the test program from the instrument control. The test program does not need to control the instruments directly. This paper introduced the running mechanism of the platform in detail. It includes function interface library, instruments static description, signal channels description and instruments configuration. Because the function interface function does not refer to any specific instruments, when the instruments are changed, the test program does not need any change. So the instruments can be interchanged. We also can implement different function interface function based on different platform to make the TPS can be transplanted to other platform. The software platform is of great benefit in the practical applications. It can reduce the developing time for TPS greatly. It also can improve the readability of the test program greatly.
