Abstract :
This paper presents a resonant boost converter which includes an auxiliary resonant network added to the conventional boost converter. All switching devices operate under the soft switching conditions. The circuit analysis and operating principles of the proposed converter are presented. Experimental results from a 50W laboratory prototype verify the theoretical analysis.
