Abstract
In this paper for the wave equation on the segment χ ε [0,1] it is proposed a new approach without the use of finite dimensional approximation. For this system it is considered the adaptive control problem with boundary control, boundary disturbances and boundary observation. The new method presented consists of the wave equation transformation to the continuous-time difference equation and adoption of the special class of discrete-time adaptive algorithms for disturbance acting attenuation
