Abstract :
In this paper a grid-connected PV system is presented. Its main feature is that, besides injecting energy into the grid, it behaves as an active filter. The reference signal used to modulate the output current is obtained through an adaptive filter. The main advantages of the technique are that the system becomes almost independent of the parameter variations, and that it lends itself to a very simple hardware implementation. A 1 kW prototype was built and tested. The results obtained show good compensation of the current drawn by nonlinear loads.
