Abstract :
Implementation of the Field Oriented Control and of the Direct Torque Control in matrix converter supplied induction motor drives is analysed in the paper. Comparison with the implementation in drives supplied by the Voltage Source Inverter is carried out. The analysis is accompanied by the results of numerical simulations and experimental implementations of these two control methods.
