Abstract :
As the "killer weapon" of future informatization war, Informatization Materiel System (IMS) has plentiful information technology, complex system configuration and high testability requirement. Testability is the concern problem of maintainability and it would get more important with the development of weapon materiel and the requirement of modern war. First, the prominent characteristics of IMS and the primary performance indexes of its testability are analyzed and the application of Built-in Test (BIT) technology is discussed. Then some design problems of BIT for IMS is studied. This could have referenced significance for the testability design of IMS.
