Abstract :
The air-compression system is one of the most important control systems for armored vehicles, which is composed of an air compressor, a grease segregator, an air cleaner, an automatic air valve, an air pressure indicator, a non-return valve, two gas circuit distributors, a high pressure air collector, two auto-decompression valves, three 3/2-way-electric valves and three types double-acting-drive-cylinders ect. It works an important action when the vehicle is in starting up, braking or paddling mission profile. Therefore, during the vehicle´s Intermediate Maintenance (IM), the performance of these key components, such as air compressor, auto-decompression valve, 3/2-way-electric valve and double-acting-drive-cylinder, must be tested to insure the repairing quality. With advanced automatic testing technologies of industry PC, sensor and data acquirement, an automatic test equipment (ATE) is built to test the components of series armored vehicles´ air-compression system and to examine those components´ performance. Based on Web Service technology, the ATE is integrated in the workshop´s Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) to improve manage efficiency.
