  • Abstract
    For homing guided weapons with lateral jets compensation, main factors affecting the guidance precision are considered, and guidance and control laws are designed to improve the guidance precision. Extended state observer technique is used to estimate the target´s maneuvers, and the estimates are used in the augmented proportional navigation guidance law to cope with the miss distance due to target maneuver. Aerodynamic control law and blended aerodynamic and lateral jets control law are designed, respectively, together with the designed control switching strategy, to cope with the miss distance due to overload deficiency. For the designed guidance and control laws, simulation is conducted. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
