Abstract :
This paper presents the computation of electromagnetic (EM) field distributions in dielectric prolate spheroids with different interfocal distances. The MathematicaTM package is developed in the research and the spheroidal harmonics with large and complex arguments are calculated. The nonorthogonal equations are solved by item expansions. The dielectric prolate spheroids described here can be used to complement analytical models of the human head in the analysis of the interaction between handset antenna and human head
