Imperfections in quadrature modulators and demodulators-gain and phase imbalance and DC offset-have a crippling effect on amplifier linearization circuits. This paper determines the required accuracy of the quadrature modulator and demodulator as a tradeoff between intermodulation power and speed of adaptation
