Abstract :
To solve the problems that difficulties to obtain geographical coordinates and meet the high performance requirements of the fitting equation while making a three-dimensional locus fitting of the low-speed moving object, a GPS-based three-dimensional Locus fitting algorithm is raised in this paper. The algorithm´s mathematical model is built on parametric equations which do the fitting operation according to the longitude, latitude and altitude collected by a GPS receiver. The Algorithm has a feature of automatic correction that it makes the data, received by the GPS receiver, is divided into several phases according the number of parametric equations´ coefficient, and the locus-fitting is done in every phase, so that the mathematical model can modify the equations in the equations automatically.
