Abstract :
This paper presents the application of a new model for the frequency dependence of soil parameters on the analysis of impulse behavior of grounding electrodes. The new model provides causal results and takes into account the statistical dispersion found experimentally for different soils. By applying this model, the impact of the dispersion of frequency dependence of soil on the lightning performance of grounding electrodes is assessed.
