  • Abstract
Cleanup Maneuver is a new technique method for improving the guidance accuracy during skip reentry. It utilizes RCS to supply speed increment and perform maneuvers in kepler phase flight to eliminate the errors accumulated during the first reentry phase. In this work, key factors for cleanup maneuver method, such as guidance algorithm, trajectory shape, maneuver opportunity, RCS configuration and work mode are discussed. Furthermore, a cleanup maneuver ability analysis method is proposed. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed ability analysis method is verified by a moon-earth 4 degrees of freedom skip reentry simulation.
