Abstract
An overview is presented of customer-oriented R&Q (reliability and quality) measurements for telecommunications systems, and several areas that should be addressed to implement the RQMS measurements are described. Application of statistical analysis procedures to interpret RQMS measurements is also discussed. A current effort to extend the R&Q measurements to cover the entire software life cycle is described
