A new approach of power loss evaluation based on statistical model

A new approach of power loss evaluation based on statistical model is proposed in this paper. The most sensitive indices of power system on power loss rate are analyzed in detail based on the historical statistical data about capacity of transformer and length of line. The mathematic relation between power loss rate and the sensitive indices is proposed based on statistical methodology, and then the confidence interval of the model and parameters in the model are testified. The effectiveness of the model is proven by the practical data in China.
