Abstract
A method of online self-tuning of PID controller parameters to missile autopilot is proposed to overcome the issue of regulation of autopilot parameters with model uncertainty. Firstly the design specifications of the missile autopilot can be described by the expected behavior and in this paper one kind of nonlinear longitudinal controller is designed based on dynamic inversion theory and multi-scales property of missile system. Then the PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm is applied to optimize the overload controller online. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
