Abstract :
A dedicated semiconductor foundry (DSF) provides a cost-effective integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing technology and wafer fabrication services to fabless semiconductor companies (FSC). However, each FSC requires its product-specific technology and technology development services. This paper presents an operating foundry business model for an efficient technology development services. The potential benefits of the proposed model in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of customer technology development are discussed
