Abstract
This paper reports the simultaneous measurement of the nonlinear refractive index and chromatic dispersion in dispersion shifted fibers, based on the power measurement of the mixing products generated by four pump waves. This method is also appropriated to be used with other low dispersion chromatic dispersion fibers as the non-zero dispersion shifted fibers.
