Abstract :
Novel methods for rejecting narrowband interference and jamming in direct sequence/spread spectrum (DS/SS) systems are reported. The proposed techniques, essentially based on digital transmission code schemes, are applied here to the chip code sequence. The authors specifically consider the use of simple digital filtering as in pseudorandom systems and also code-sequence interleaving in order to generate the required spectral nulls. Computer simulated power-spectrum density function results are presented, and these suggest that chip-code interleaving is very promising.<>
