Abstract :
This paper presents an easy-to-use simulation tool named VSAT for voltage stability analysis in smart grids. The proposed VSAT, which is a graphical user interface (GUI) software package, is develop by means of the visualization capabilities of Matlab for both research and educational applications. A series of case studies conducted on the IEEE 14-bus and IEEE 39-bus systems is used to demonstrate the effectiveness and flexibility of the proposed tool.
