Abstract :
This paper presents an empirically deduced cognitive map of attitudes towards technology and innovation of middle managers in manufacturing industries. The map sheds light on possible individual-level factors for the formation of technological trajectories and the continuing technological gap between developed and developing countries, and suggests ways to manage managerial understanding of technology and innovation
