Abstract
Surface potential measurements are presented for corona charged P(VDF-TrFE) (polyvinylidene fluoride and trifluorethylene) samples in a constant-current corona triode. The surface potential curves display three distinct regions, characteristic of ferroelectric polymers. The results are interpreted by neglecting the intrinsic conductivity and assuming a dynamics for the electrical polarization which is usually employed in switching measurements of ferroelectric materials, but which is adapted for the constant corona charging condition
