Abstract :
This paper presents microstrip-fed slot antenna with cross-shaped tuning stub for UWB application. The characteristics of antenna are proposed and analyzed for instance return loss, bandwidth, far field radiation patterns, and gain. The simulation results of the impedance matching for the proposed antenna shown the impedance bandwidth determined by -10 dB return loss, approximate 154% (1.75-13.4 GHz) of the center band, the radiation patterns are bi-directional and maximum gain is 7 dBi at 5 GHz.
