Abstract :
The characteristics of a DRM pass-band signal allow one to implement a real-time software receiver on a conventional personal computer. We propose a possible structure for such an implementation. Algorithms for channel estimation and equalization as well as methods for synchronization are described together with their relevance for the entire system. The performance of the system is then evaluated by simulation.
