Abstract :
The purpose of this technical paper is to make an analysis of the propagation of HF radio signals in a tropical region. The propagation of HF radio signals through the ionosphere is used widely in Nigeria, most especially within airports in Nigeria. This paper surveys and highlights the problems experienced by the HF radio signal in its journey through the special ionosphere of a tropical region.
