Abstract :
The mechanism of electrical conduction in polyether-ether-ketone is studied based on the results of DC conduction and thermal pulse current (TPC) measurements. Charging current curves as a function of time at 150°C are shown along with similar curves at an electric field strength of 0.6 MV/cm. The dependence of DC conduction current on the applied field and temperature is also shown. The TPC spectra at room temperature are evaluated
