  • Abstract
A radiofrequency catheter conveyor that was functioned in a heart radiofrequency catheter intervention robot system was designed and demonstrated. The design adopted a new way of clamping the catheter with silicone tube gasbags, and the movements of delivery and rotation were in a batch-type. There were two motors in the conveyor, one was the driver of the deliver-motion, and the other was responsible to the rotate-motion. The conveyor was a part of the radio frequency catheter intervention robot system, and was connected to the PC with a DAQ (Date Acquisition Card) and a MCC (Motion Control Card). The real conveyor was machined and assembled as designed, the experimental results met the design and application requirements.
