Abstract
For the important role that adaptive stochastic resonance plays in weak signal detection, an adaptive stochastic resonance algorithm with genetic algorithm is proposed. Furthermore, the algorithm is optimized by using niche technique and ´cross generational elitist selection´ technique. The paper gives the realization steps of the algorithm and its simulation. The results of experiments indicate that the frequency of carrier in the weak amplitude modulated signal can be recognized through the algorithm. The problem that the time-varied amplitude signal cannot be detected by traditional algorithm is resolved so as to extend the application scope of adaptive stochastic resonance in engineering realization.
