  • Abstract
    NTT´s land mobile telephone system was put into service in 1979 in the Tokyo area, and has been extended to several major cities. In order to provide nationwide service, it is necessary to realize economical radio and switching equipments which are suitable for use in a lower subscriber density area. This paper presents an outline of the economical radio and switching equipments providing nationwide land mobile telephone service.
