Abstract :
In this paper, two kinds of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission schemes for UWB (ultra-wideband) wireless communication system using pre/post-rake combiners are proposed and the bit error rate (BER) performances are analyzed under high data rate wireless personal area network (WPAN) environment by computer simulation. As a result, the BER performances of the proposed multi-antenna pre/post-rake transmission schemes for UWB wireless communication system are improved as the number of fingers for pre/post-rake combining increases.
