Abstract :
This paper discusses and compares different methods to analyse partial discharge data sets, starting with ´simple´ frequency distributions of different parameters derived from the externally applied voltage and pulse height distributions extracted from the data set as a whole. In addition sequence correlated data such as e.g., voltage sequences or sequences of voltage changes or time differences between consecutive discharges and ´combined parameters´ are also discussed.
