Abstract
In this paper, a novel engineering bidding decision-making model for contractors is presented to overcome the subjectiveness of decision makers in making bidding. In the model, the entropy weight was used to determine the grey clustering weight of decision indexes, while the grey clustering decision was applied to make a comprehensive evaluation of several optional projects. A case study of bidding projects evaluation of a certain contractor firm was presented. Results indicate that the grey entropy clustering decision method is effective for contractors to evaluate the bidding projects, and the proposed method can improve the objectivity and accuracy of evaluation results.
