Abstract
Cellulose paper used as insulating material in transformer degrades under thermal and electrical stresses. In order to understand the cause of degradation, paper was exposed to varied thermal and electrical stresses in an indigenously designed and fabricated test cell for different duration. The present paper describes different structural features of these aged papers.
