Abstract :
Space manipulator is a typical spatial structure, which has been widely used in a space station, space shuttle, planet detector, and other spacecrafts. Because slender space structures reflect a great deal of flexibility in orbit during the operation and must be ensured the operation high accuracy, it is strict to its level of vibration monitoring and control requirements. Using extended flexible space manipulator as experiment structure model, fiber grating sensor array is implanted orthogonally. Orthogonal multipoint curvature information can be detected by space-division multiplex technique and wavelength division multiplex technique. To realize vibration shape reconstruction and visualization of extended flexible structure, the curvature information interpolation method and the curve fitting algorithm are discussed and vibration shape fitting and 3D visualization of space curved bar are also realized. Simulation results show that the interpolation method and fitting algorithm can reflect the vibration shape of slender structure more accurately.
