Abstract :
A kind of intelligent cleaner system is introduced, which uses a panoramic camera to provide information for navigation. In the system design, improved CAMShift and ´active´ frame-difference algorithms are used, based on which object-detecting, tracking, route-planning and automatic control are realized. Experiments are carried out. Compared with the first generation of intelligent cleaners in the market, the system introduced in the paper takes advantage of feedback information from the panoramic camera, thus is much more efficient while doing the cleaning, even with outside interferences.
