Abstract :
In this work the authors want to provide a complete study on solar application from a PV plant to the public grid connection passing through a DC/DC converter and a DC/AC inverter for a single phase application. The solar plant has been described, modeled and studied to minimize computation without effect on accuracy. An efficient algorithm based on observation and perturbation method has been studied to control the Sepic, DC/DC converter topology adopted, and assure the Maximum Power Point (MPP) of the solar plant and the capacitor voltage as DC link with the Voltage Source Inverter (VSI). All system is coupled with the main by an LC filter for reducing current ripple at switching frequency, 20 kHz, and an isolating transformer in order to match standard requirements. All the complete converter has been analyzed and the simulation results justify the right chooses done.
