Abstract :
Superior grey relational analysis is used to study the relationship among the parameters of age, casual blood pressure and 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure with left atrial and ventricular structure, and left ventricular filling function in systolic hypertensives (SH). The results show that among the independent variables, 24-hour ambulatory systolic blood pressure (ASBP24) is the most important factor to affect the cardiac structure and function in SH. The first cardiac variation in SH is the left atrial structure affected by the independent variables. Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction and the left ventricular hypertrophic changes take place in succession.
