Abstract :
A series of radio transmission level measurements have been made in the Brooklyn/Battery Tunnel to characterize 850 MHz propagation under conditions of light and heavy traffic. In addition, the measurements compared four different source antennas and determined the effects from varying the polarization of the source antenna.
