    Harmonic voltage distortion has been growing steadily across Europe with total harmonic distortion (THD) & 5th harmonic distortion increasing by 1% of the fundamental voltage every 10 years [1]. This trend if it continues unchecked will result in harmonic voltage distortion in excess of equipment compatibility levels.
