Abstract :
In order to apply fractional order PID controller to the reality engineering project, fractional PID controller is developed by limited memory digital implementation method based on structured text language in RSLogix 5000 of Rockwell programming software. The real-time simulation research is completed by RSLogix Emulate 5000 emulation controller. The simulation results show that control performance of fractional PID controller is better than regular integer order PID controller. Furthermore, this development method can be applied to actual production process and it is valuable in engineering application.
